Key rings were inspired by Ahns’ “the Painting-Object series”, which was created as sculptural painting using laser cutter on plywood, which combines the characteristics of both painting and sculpture. While it is fundamentally a two-dimensional artwork, it possesses a physical presence as an object with a multi-dimensional surface.
