About the Author
Kimaada Le Gendre is a Trinidadian-American educator, entrepreneur, environmentalist and author.
After spending over 15 years as a formal & informal teacher, she shifted her focus when she became a mom to developing and writing books.
She writes multicultural stories that empower and inspire children of color from all around the world, and environmentally focused stories that encourage young children to think of solutions to solve our earth's environmental problems.
Since launching Naturebella's Kids Books in June 2018, she has received great reviews from literary bloggers, teachers, parents and children.
She currently resides in Queens, NY and is a graduate of Hunter College and Vermont Law School. She is currently the Head of Education at Queens Museum and runs an empowerment camp for young girls.
