A bilingual English-Spanish project produced in collaboration with the Heart of Corona Coalition, A Healthy Taste of Corona is a uniquely Queens-oriented guide to what to put on your plate. Editors Naila Rosario and Prerana Reddy, alongside food expert Christina Persaud, draw together cultural tourism, community pride, and good nutrition to lead readers on a wholesome journey to Latin America and beyond. The most ethnically diverse urban area in the world, the borough of Queens has always prided itself on its astounding diversity of culture. Whether through Ecuadorian chupe (fish soup), Chinese-Peruvian chifa, or Michoacan stuffed chiles, Corona residents maintain multiple linkages and interactions that span national borders. A Healthy Taste of Corona reveals the swirling, magnetic force of the Queens neighborhood within which the Queens Museum resides while simultaneously supporting healthy habits for the reader's wellbeing.
